Shielding paint for high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF).  Shielding up to 67 dB.  Perfect for shielding rooms and buildings. Standard shielding paint with the best all-round properties. Breathable, solvent-free, plasticizer-free and low-emission.  Excellent adhesion on almost all substrates both interior and exterior.

Top coating

Preferably covered with plastic bonded water-based emulsion paints, dispersion silicate paints, facade paints or silicon resin paints.

Grounding

This product must be grounded.  For interior use we recommend using a grounding strap plus grounding plate. For external use, we recommend fiber additive AF3 plus the grounding plate. Grounding accessories available please ask.

All grounding must be done by a licenced electrician.

Optional: Fiber additive AF3

This additive contains long, electrically conductive carbon fibers normally used on uneven surfaces eg brickwork or vertical joints (VJ) walls to assist with conductivity.

Frost resistance

This product is frost resistant (proved for 5 frost-/thaw cycles) and can be shipped throughout the year.

5G Ready

YShield has a shielding attenuation for a very large frequency range. This frequency range has includes both 5G frequency spectrums: eg 600 MHz – 6 GHz and 24 GHz – 40 GHz.

Safety up to 40 GHz

YShield has a professional EMC laboratory according to various standards up to 40 GHz on site. You’ll receive measuring curves and reports from 40/600 MHz – 40 GHz with all their shielding products.

No nanotechnology

YShield shielding paints are developed in accordance with strict ecological criteria. For example, they use carbon black with the lowest emission possible on the market and untreated natural graphite. They consciously do not use graphene, a nanomaterial where the hazard potential is still completely unknown.

TÜV-SÜD certification

YShield shielding paints are monitored by TÜV-SÜD. The whole production process including quality control, emission behaviour, and economical use of preserving agents is subject to monitoring. Please find the certificate above at the downloads.
